About the PRISM Awards
Since 2001, Mental Health America of Greater Dallas has proudly presented the PRISM Awards as one of its signature traditions, recognizing individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, and dedication have strengthened mental health and well-being across North Texas.
The Prism Awards were created to celebrate those who make a lasting difference, whether through advocacy, volunteerism, or education. They reflect the belief that progress in mental health is achieved through the collective efforts of people who dedicate themselves to improving the lives of others.
As Mental Health America of Greater Dallas looks to the future, the PRISM Awards continue to evolve alongside the communities we serve. While honoring the remarkable legacy of past recipients, we also recognize the importance of encouraging the next generation of leaders who are shaping the future of mental health.
The addition of the NextGen Impact Award – Breaking the Stigma recognizes our commitment to the future. We celebrate the idea that leadership has no age limit and that lasting progress begins by recognizing that young people are part of the solution. This award acknowledges middle and high school students who are promoting understanding and creating positive change in their schools and communities.
Today, the PRISM Awards continue to shine a light on those who advance mental well-being across North Texas building awareness that builds strength.
